History and present
History
The company Kovoprojekta Brno was founded in 1950 as an engineering company specialized in mechanical engineering and metallurgy projects.
In 1992, it was transformed into a joint stock company. In the mid-1990s, the company's specialization expanded to today's core business - chemistry, crude oil and gas processing. At the same time, the range of services has been extended by turnkey investment projects.
We also took up new sectors - civil and residential buildings, power engineering and infrastructure.
The company Kovoprojekta has participated in many significant international projects with international cooperation, e.g. in India, Korea, Costa Rica, Poland, Russia, Nigeria, Serbia, Iraq and other countries.
In 1996, the company merged with TECHNOPETROL ENGINEERING spol. s r.o. (Ltd.) based in Brno. The trademark TKB (Technopetrol Kovoprojekta Brno) was set up this way.
In 2019, the company rebranded extensively. Not only the unified visual style but also the trademark itself was modified. The abbreviation TKB was removed and replaced by the full trade name Kovoprojekta.
